Pearson Edexcel Level 1/Level 2 GCSE (9 - 1) in Combined Science (1SC0)
All pupils who have not chosen or met the entry requirements for the Separate Sciences of Biology, Chemistry and Physics will be taking Combined Science during Years 10 and 11. Combined Science is completed over two years and the examinations are all taken at the end of the course.
Combined Science consists of six externally examined papers each accounting for 16.67% of the pupils GCSE grade. These are available at foundation tier and higher tier. All examinations are 1 hour and 10 minutes in length and students must complete all assessments in the same tier.
